Abnormality on chest X-ray
Definitive Diagnosis
Superior vena cava aneursym
Reviewy
Intrathoracic vascular lesion (10% of mediastinal mass)
Aneurysm arising from aorta and its branches
Vein aneurysm is extremely rare
Usually asymptomatic, incidental diagnosed
Image findings
CT : enhancing lesions adjacent to the ascending aorta, enhancing but less than that of aorta
Positional variation of size and the mass
Treatment
≤ 40 mm: conservative treatment (antiplatelet therapy, F/U)
Larger, growing, symptomatic, containing thrombus
: radical surgical treatment
